Is Fluoride-Free Toothpaste for You?
Fluoride is a natural mineral found in all bodies of water. Fluoride has been added to most water supplies and many dental products because it helps prevent tooth decay by strengthening enamel and keeping teeth hard. However, too much fluoride can cause discoloration and poor mineralization of the teeth, especially in young children. If you’re not sure whether you’re getting the right amount of fluoride, talk to your dentist for an evaluation.
Patented Zinc and Black Seed Oil Formula!
SprinJene Natural Sensitivity Relief Fluoride-Free Toothpaste features a patented formula with zinc and black seed oil, along with “good for you” ingredients like coconut oil, birch tree xylitol, and acacia gum. Plus, potassium nitrate is added to make brushing gentler on sensitive teeth. This patented, fluoride-free toothpaste for sensitive teeth can help to:
- Provide relief from dry mouth.
- Control the growth of tartar.
- Deliver long-lasting oral freshness.
- Fight gingivitis (gum disease).
- Reduce gum inflammation.
- Fluoride. Some people in the population have an issue with too much fluoride. However, not everyone is allergic or sensitive to that small amount of fluoride in toothpaste.
- SLS (soldium lauryl sulfate). SLS is a chemical surfactant irritant to some people and used to reduce surface tension between ingredients and thicken certain food products.
- Artificial preservatives and dyes. Unnatural chemicals used to make products last longer and look a certain color have been linked to multiple health issues, especially in children.
- Saccharin. Saccharin is an artificial sweetener with a bitter aftertaste and no nutritional benefit.
- Animal byproducts. No substances that come from animals are found in any SprinJene natural toothpaste or used in manufacturing.

Certified Vegan Toothpaste
The case for vegan toothpaste is powerful. Vegan toothpaste does not contain any animal-derived ingredients. Vegan toothpaste is also part of a broader vegan lifestyle that opposes any form of animal exploitation and supports alternative sources of nutrients that are readily available in nature. Of course, it’s no coincidence that a vegan diet tends to be healthier because it eliminates unhealthy fats, manmade processing substances and artificial sweeteners, and hormones and antibiotics that are used to make cows, pigs, chickens, salmon, and other animals plump and juicy. As a certified vegan toothpaste brand, SprinJene is happy to extend the vegan lifestyle to your brushing routine.
Certified Cruelty-Free Toothpaste
The cruelty-free movement goes hand in hand with the vegan lifestyle and is part of who we are as an organization. Neither our ingredients nor our formulas for our natural toothpastes have been tested on animals. That’s because we don’t believe innocent animals need to suffer in order to provide people with effective, great-tasting toothpaste. All SprinJene natural toothpastes proudly display the Leaping Bunny Program logo from the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC). This is the gold standard in cruelty-free certification. Beware of products with a different bunny logo and different language, which could indicate lesser standards. SprinJene offers only certified cruelty-free toothpaste formulas.
Certified Gluten-Free Toothpaste
One of our top priorities when developing SprinJene natural toothpastes was to make our products available to as many people as possible, regardless of health conditions, nutritional requirements, and religious and cultural beliefs. People with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity can use our healthy toothpaste with total confidence. Even if you have no health-related concerns, gluten as a standalone ingredient has no nutritional value or health benefits. Although gluten is one of those sneaky substances that often finds its way into the food you consume on a regular basis, you will never find gluten in any of our certified gluten-free toothpaste formulas.
Certified Kosher Toothpaste
Although our certified kosher toothpaste formulas are most relevant to customers of the Jewish faith, kosher benefits extend to any individual or family who is health-conscious and cares about the ethical treatment of animals. SprinJene natural toothpaste satisfies the same strict requirements as Kosher foods according to traditional Jewish law. Because some religious scholars believe toothpaste should be viewed as a food item and must be kosher, we’ve gone to great lengths to ensure our toothpaste is certified kosher. Many toothpastes contain ingredients that come from non-kosher sources, but you can feel confident that SprinJene natural toothpastes are certified kosher.
Certified Halal Toothpaste
To be certified as halal, a product food must be free from dead animals, birds, or insects, as well as pork products, alcohol, poisons or toxic materials. We realize something as simple as toothpaste can be an important part of your religion, community, and lifestyle. Although the term “halal” is most commonly used to describe meat that Islamic law deems permissible to consume, halal standards are also applied to everything from personal care products and pharmaceuticals to fashion and tourism. Our certified halal toothpaste is made from natural, ethically sourced ingredients that are not tested on animals. The beauty of halal standards is that they not only result in healthy toothpaste, but they also overlap with other characteristics of SprinJene natural toothpastes, such as cruelty-free, vegan, and kosher.
Certified USDA BioPreferred Toothpaste
The use of biobased products reduces reliance on petroleum, reduces carbon dioxide emissions, and contributes hundreds of billions of dollars to the U.S. economy. Biobased products are made from plants and other renewable agricultural, marine, and forestry materials. These products do not include food, animal feed, or fuel. SprinJene natural toothpaste products have been certified by the USDA BioPreferred Program to contain 100 percent biobased content. This certification is proof of SprinJene’s commitment to using renewable resources and sustainable manufacturing practices to minimize our environmental footprint. We’re proud to be part of the movement toward a more environmentally conscious business community, here in the U.S. and around the world.
How to Brush for Best Results
If you want to keep your teeth and gums healthy, you need to do more than choose a healthy, natural toothpaste. You need to brush your teeth with the right brush and the right technique! According to the American Dental Association and the American Dental Hygienists Association, you should brush twice a day with a soft-bristled toothbrush, which should be replaced every three to four months.
The bristles of your toothbrush should touch your teeth and gumline at a 45-degree angle. Gently brush with a vibrating, back-and-forth rolling motion that contacts the gums and finishes away from the gums toward the chewing surface of your teeth. Be sure to brush the outer surface, the inner surface, and the chewing surface of every tooth. For the inner surface of your front teeth, you’ll have to tilt your toothbrush vertically.
For best results, brush your tongue from back to front to get rid of bacteria and keep your breath fresh. And don’t forget to finish with floss and mouthwash!
